My Philosophy for Vibrant Health

I believe that prevention and maintenance are key factors in a healthy lifestyle. Combining quality nutrition, moderate exercise, restful sleep and regular tune-ups with acupuncture and other modalities will help keep you feeling and performing at optimum levels.

Our mental and emotional state plays a vital role in the health and vitality of the body's systems. Our patterns of thought can influence internal body chemistry which in turn can enhance or de-regulate normal cellular activity. Prolonged stress is detrimental to our internal balance. Thinking good-feeling thoughts and keeping our stress levels at a minimum keeps us out of the extreme zones and closer to a state of homeostasis.

For optimal health and well-being I recommend the following daily:

1) Think thoughts that bring you joy! See the glass half-full!                                                   2) Make a list of people and things you appreciate.                                                               3) Love what you do, do what you love!                                                                                 4) Spend time outdoors. Bask in gentle sunshine. Connect with nature.                                5) Inhale and exhale deeply!                                                                                                   6) Move your body!                                                                                                                 7) Eat a fresh, organic, local food, plant-based as much as possible.                                   8) Be honest with yourself about how you feel. Allow yourself to just FEEL.                         9) Meditation and prayer. Journaling                                                                                       10) Be kind to yourself. Love yourself!

AND every 4-6 weeks (or as needed)                                                                                    Get a maintenance treatment (Acupuncture, CranioSacral Therapy, Cupping, etc.)!

These are simple but powerful tools that increase joy, decrease stress, strengthen your immune system and are key for vibrant health!
